It’s not every politician with grand aspirations and a high view of their own competence that can throw their name in the ring for a Presidential run. But Tulsi was on that list.
Not long ago, she was a leader in the DCCC and the face of the Democrat’s future. We all watched as something changed during the primaries leading up to 2020 and her own party turned on her.
Remember that what she is saying on this clip is not spoken as one of those ‘dreaded’ white conservative Evangelicals who are demonized by so many Democrat-friendly talking heads. She’s a Hindu. According to rules of the oppression Olympics the Dems have subscribed to, she should have her ticket punched. But, like so many other people with dark complexions, she stops being useful when she breaks away from the herd and the official talking points to think for herself.

The topic of this TV appearance was how the public is losing confidence in traditional institutions. But Tulsi took it in a whole other direction — the open hostility of Democrats to religious expression.

She had some strong words for just how dangerous such a hostile view of Christians is to the overall health of the nation.
I’m still having a hard time getting past her endorsing Burned Brain Sanders for president in 2016. But having said that it’s nice to hear her tell the truth about the Democrats. You certainly can’t rely on the mainstream media to do it.
