AFGHANISTAN: 13 Gold Star Families Finally Given Chance To Share Their Story (VIDEO)

Biden has shrouded this story in silence... this hearing gives them back their voice

As badly bungled as the Afghanistan exit had been, the most shameful part is the silence.

For all the public posturing about how deeply Joe Biden cares about the men and women who wear our nation’s uniform…

For all the teary-eyed moments about his love for the fallen.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

For all the showmanship he gave us by pulling that card out of his jacket pocket to prove that he keeps the names of those killed abroad so close to his heart…

His actions say otherwise.

When it came to a choice between owning up to the fact that a series of his own policy decisions were made that ultimately cost 13 American lives — with countless others dead and injured — and sweeping the ‘problem’ under the rug to minimize political damage to himself and his administration, Joe Biden made the coward’s choice.

These hearings don’t undo the grievous harm done by Joe “check-my-watch-while-the-caskets-go-by” Biden to the families of the thirteen people who died that day for decisions made higher up the chain.

But giving them their voice back in this way is a small step in the right direction.
