Texas Blasts Whiny Mayor Of NYC Who Cried ‘Uncle’ Over A FRACTION Of What Texas Endures
Remember how Mayor Eric threatened to campaign in Texas in response to shipping illegal immigrants out of state?

New York is waking up to the hard reality the right has been warning about for years. You can have an open border, or you can have a social safety net. But you cannot have both.
When you try to do both, the system will eventually become unsustainable and collapse under its own weight. If we’re really honest — that mirrors the entire POINT of the Cloward-Piven strategy for promoting Marxim by overwhelming the welfare state so that the government collapses.
The Biden administration didn’t care about any of those warnings and charged ahead with their open border policy.
But now that several million people have been added to the country — with no end of that policy in sight — even so-called ‘sanctuary’ states and municipalities are already groaning under the strain and demanding federal relief.
Border states like Texas, who had been scorned as ‘bigots’ when they were bearing the brunt of the burden alone, is firing back at New York’s mayor who has suddenly discovered that this is a problem, now that it is finally affecting his own backyard.
Adams has the audacity to KEEP blaming Texas for the influx of people he — as a SANCTUARY city — is supposed to believe is a net benefit to New Yorkers.
“What happened? It started with a madman down in Texas, decided he wanted to bus people up to New York City,” Adams said Wednesday. “One hundred ten thousand migrants. We have to feed, clothe, house, educate the children, wash their laundry sheets, give them everything they need, health care. And this team here, we stated, let’s do everything possible before we have to push it out into neighborhoods and communities. Month after month, I stood up, and I said, ‘This is going to come to a neighborhood near you.’”
So 110,000 people show up in one of the world’s wealthiest cities, NYC, and the Mayor is in full panic despite a policy claiming that ‘all are welcome’ in New York and that ‘no one is illegal’. But the Governor of Texas — who has had MILLIONS wander into his state — is supposed to accomodate everyone? He is not supposed to send people to other jurisdictions — something which Mayor Adams himself has been doing?
Abbott’s press secretary Andrew Mahaleris sent a statement to Fox News Digital in reply to Adams’ biting criticsm.
“The hypocrisy of Mayor Adams is astounding. Mayor Adams was proud to tout his self-described sanctuary city status until Texas began busing migrants to New York City to provide relief to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities,” Mahaleris said by email Thursday. “With millions of residents, New York is only dealing with a fraction of what our small border communities deal with on a day-to-day basis. Instead of complaining about 13,000 migrants sent from Texas, Mayor Adams should be calling out his party leader, President Biden, who has been flying planeloads of migrants all around the country and oftentimes in the cover of night, straining state and local resources across the country. Until President Biden steps up and does his job, Texas will continue busing migrants to sanctuary cities to provide relief to our overwhelmed border towns.”
“We’re getting no support on this national crisis,” Adams added Wednesday, noting that at one time, most migrants arriving in New York City were from Venezuela, but now more come from Ecuador and even Russian-speaking people and West African people are “coming through Mexico” to attempt to claim asylum in the U.S.
“Now we are getting people from all over the globe have made their minds up that they’re going to come through the southern part of the border and come into New York City,” Adams said. “And everyone is saying it’s New York City’s problem. Every community in this city is going to be impacted.” — FoxNews
