One of Trump’s lesser-known books ‘The America We Deserve’ made reference to a future attack that would make the 1993 bombing of the Twin Towers look like kids playing with fire crackers. He went on to mention, by name, Osama Bin Laden that pops up in a new cycles, only to hide under some rock and be forgotten again by the media after surviving a Clinton-era missile attack on his desert camp.
That book was printed in 2000, more than a year before those same towers fell in an attack orchestrated by — that’s right — Osama Bin Laden.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Fact-checkers rushed out to downplay the prediction. But the fact remains that Trump took the clues of the attack in ’93, paired it with the growing trend of terrorism we were seeing around the world, and correctly concluded that NYC was a probable target of shadowy figures like that Bin Laden guy.
That, the removal of the Caliphate as a territorial region on the map, turning Baghdadi into dog food, and two smoking boots where Solemani once stood represented Trump’s track record on terrorism.
Biden, on the other hand, was the one guy in the room who opposed the Obama-era military action that finally caught and killed Osama Bin Laden.
