Does Crazy Leftist Rant Hold Key To Craptastic GOP Performance In Yesterday’s Elections?

There may have been some wins, but the GOP took a LOT of L's

Governor Youngkin’s job just got a LOT more difficult now that the blue team holds both houses in Virginia — and a convicted felon is likely to be the next Speaker.

There were a few bright spots in the election results, but at the end of the day, Democrats were popping corks and Republican advisors were left scratching their heads wondering what went wrong.

There will be plenty of time for the post-mortems in the days to come, but the key lesson the GOP should take away from this is that however much the left dislikes Biden, don’t pretend the next election will be a cakewalk.

The right needs to go in with an attitude that every patch of ground will be defended by partisan leftists to the very last of their strength and anything less than an equal effort on this side will be doomed to fail.

The right has lives, interests, hobbies, faith, and a whole long list of other priorities that are further up the chain of importance than politics.

The left, on the other hand, has collapsed their entire moral and value structure into one big tangled mess.

In the secular world of many of their most aggressive activists, there is no God. Morals are subjective and defined as an expression of naked political will. We’ve seen this in action time and again in recent years. The energy ordinary people pour into things like faith and family they pour into politcs.

On top of that, they are blurring the lines between community and the individual. It’s no coincidence that identity politics is infecting every aspect of society.

It is creating a deliberate us-and-them paradigm in which the left can swoop in as the rescuer or the oppressed and aggrieved parties — women, minorities, LGBT etc.

THAT’s the REAL reason they want more and more people squeezed into one or another identity box. If that means throwing the self-perception of sexual identity for an entire generation into chaos just so they can seize political power? So be it.

Their strategy hinges on an ‘enemy’. It’s hard to promise such diverse groups as they try to attract all the things they could possibly want. It’s so much easier to create a narrative of a threat who is coming to take something AWAY from you… and big Daddy Government will protect you from that threat.

If you are reading this, you are probably the threat these people have been warning you about.

There is absolutely something to be said for the very practical points raised by Lila Rose here about ANOTHER conservative loss yesteday…

But let’s not make the mistake of underestimating just how effective the left’s propaganda war about ‘MAGA extremist’, and ‘white supremacy’, and the Handmaids Tale, and Russia, and ‘J6 Insurrection’ really has been when amplified by the lockstep cooperation of Silicon Valley, Corporate Media, Left-wing politicians and RINOs gone rogue.

If we’re going to fight to save what’s left of a Constitutional Republic in the coming election let’s not go in there with false bravado and high expectations.

And let’s come to terms with the fact that we need to do more than win a cultural or political battle — we need to learn how to go beyond our bubble and become persuasive again.

Vivek is obviously a longshot to win the Primary — at least this time around, But that doesn’t mean we can’t learn a valuable lesson from his campaign.

He’s doing one thing differently from most of the others. He’s engaging with audiences that are NOT traditionally open to GOP candidates and ideas — and he’s winning the over by both LISTENING to them, and responding to them.
