Hey Kamala: Why Are Chicago ‘Refugees’ Choosing To Go Back To Venezuela?

The whole point of 'refugee' claims is that 'home' was too dangerous

Biden and the Democrats have been pushing a lie down the throats of the American taxpayer and their own beloved ‘refugees’ are providing proof.

We have thrown open the doors to any damned fool who demands access and says the magic words ‘I’m scared’.

(Except for the Romeike family of Christian homeschoolers from Germany that had been granted refugee status by the courts in Obama’s day. Biden fought in court to send them packing.)

Well, now that all these newcomers have taken a look around, we’ve got plenty of people in failed states saying they liked it better somewhere else.

And so they’re leaving. Some are headed back home.

Some Venezuelan migrants who trekked thousands of miles to the US in search of a better life are so disheartened, they say they’re already heading back home.

Michael Castejon, 39, told the Chicago Tribune he has had enough after he, his wife and teenage stepdaughter spent five months sleeping either in a police precinct or a crowded city shelter in the now-brutally cold Windy City.

He’s also been unable to secure a job permit or enroll his daughter in a local school — two of the main reasons things they thought would bring a better life in the US.

“The American Dream doesn’t exist anymore,” Castejon told the paper on the eve of his family’s departure.

“There’s nothing here for us … We just want to be home,” Castejon told the Tribune of the South American country he earlier fled.

A similar problem has emerged with NYC migrants who were relocated to a different part of the city. They didn’t like it and walked away.

That raises the obvious question…

If we’ve got people turning their nose up at the freebies the taxpayer has been giving them, and going home again, was it really so dangerous in the first place?

The news article cited above makes it clear the real reason they came was economic opportunity. That is — explictly — NOT a valid reason for asylum claim.

Is anyone going to plug this loophole?
