Nikki Haley Is Just Another Establishment RINO — DeSantis Brings His Proof

If you need a clue... just look at who's endorsing her

At Clash, we really enjoyed and appreciated the curb-stomping Nikki Haley regularly gave to the unaccountable hypocrites at the UN. But that doesn’t mean all skills are transferrable.

Just because her expertise, judgment, and feistiness were just what the doctor ordered for her stint at the UN, does NOT mean they are the same skill stack we would want to see behind the Resolute Desk.

Among the questions being raised about her within the GOP is one about her judgment and priorities. Is she just another neocon squish that will fall in step with whatever the latest white paper cranked out by some bigwig think tank tells her to think on an issue?

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Because what the issues of the day call for are an intuitive understanding of which positions line up with Big State group think ideological conformity, and which seemingly small issues (like bathrooms) are actually the thin edge of the wedge on massive attempt to fundamentally transform the country in a direction favored by the American strain of neoMarxists.

The appeal of Conservatives in the vein of Trump and DeSantis is that they not only recognize the problem, but they dig in their heels and face it head on. Would Nikki be that sort of candidate? Or is she another Mitt Romney/George Dubya type perpetually getting played by the left? Is she another sad example of the Charlie Brown/Lucie foot ball model of leadership?

DeSantis would have us consider her backers.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) knocked former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley on Tuesday as being “really reflective of the old failed Republican establishment of yesteryear” as the presidential candidate seeks to make his pitch as the viable alternative to former President Trump.

“Even a campaigner as good as Chris [Christie] is not going to be able to paper over Nikki being an establishment candidate. I mean, she’s getting funded by liberal Democrats from California, like a founder of LinkedIn, people on Wall Street, like the head of J.P. Morgan,” DeSantis said during a CNN town hall in Iowa.

“She’s getting all these folks that are going to her. Guess what, guys, those folks do not want to see conservative change in this country. So why are they gravitating to her?” he continued.

“I think her positions on things like saying her first day in office, she’s going to demand that everyone produce their name on social media. She said I want your name. What, you’re going to doxx the whole country? Conservatives have been singled out for expressing opinions on social media,” DeSantis said.

“I think there’s so many problems with her policy positions. She’s really reflective of the old failed Republican establishment of yesteryear,” he added, while praising former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie as a “great campaigner.”  — TheHill

  1. And yet she will be the choice because there are so many establishment RINO republicans and democrats within the Republican Party, which is actually nothing more than the lesser of the evils!
