OH LOOK: Guess Who Really IS Coming To Outlaw Your Natural Gas Appliances

Not long ago, the ‘dangers’ of gas stoves were in the news. Even AOC, who’s first in line for adopting every trendy eco-cause was leading the vanguard, warning us all about the dangers of gas stoves.

But for the fact that she’s renting, she too would have nothing to do with these horrific devices.

The Biden administration denied that his beloved Green New Deal agenda was coming for stoves powered by natural gas. He didn’t outlaw them (although later documents revealed that they were discussing doing exactly that.

In the memo dated Oct. 25, 2022, Richard Trumka Jr. — whom President Biden appointed to serve on the five-person Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) — wrote to a fellow commissioner that there was sufficient evidence for the agency to move forward with a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPR) to ban gas stoves in the near future. Trumka’s memo was titled, “NPR Proposing Ban on Gas Stoves (Indoor Air Quality).”

“The need for gas stove regulation has reached a boiling point,” the CPSC commissioner wrote in the October memo. “CPSC has the responsibility to ban consumer products that emit hazardous substances, particularly, when those emissions harm children, under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act.” –FoxNews

So typical. Have an aggressive agenda to change the lives of millions, but do it on the sly so that it’s already implemented before anyone can object. And if you get caught? Deny it.

They scaled back the agenda and then the EPA issued new regulations that will severely limit the production of new gas stoves. This way, they don’t need Congress to actually change laws in order to make companies comply with their partisan eco agenda.

But for the Left Coast, such incremental change isn’t fast enough. California will soon be outlawing gas hookups for gas appliances like water heaters and furnaces, putting even more strain on California’s already overburdened electrical grid.

The Bay Area Air Quality District Board, a panel of appointees tasked with curbing pollutants for nine California counties, voted Wednesday to block the installation of gas-powered appliances beginning in 2027. The board acknowledged that homeowners will have to spend thousands of dollars to install electric appliances and that the pivot away from natural gas will increase energy costs. — FreeBeacon

Unfortunately, this is exactly what we get every time zealots view the world through the lens of just a single issue.
