WATCH: FBI Deputy Counter-Intel Director Seems Uninterested In Durham Report
Eleven days later she hadn't read it, wasn't briefed, and didn't even read the summary
Jill Murphy, the FBI’s deputy assistant director of counterintelligence was called before Congress to testify this week, and Rep Dan Bishop was blown away not only by her lack of interest in the possible wrongdoing by the FBI described in the report, but also because of what she said about a permanent expansion of a certain segment of the FBI’s staffing.
In a line of questioning beginning at the 2:53 mark, Bishop was struck by her answer to a question about what her testimony described as ‘permanent surge capability on election and foreign influence threats’.
Remember, she hasn’t cared to read the Durham report, nor has she been following the Twitter Files in any detail, both of which have described serious government overreach.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
She gives a reply in the 3:30-3:42 time span to which Bishop responds:
“You got people permanently employed to do whatever you may need to interfere with you in the election um how about um yeah that’s just astonishing.”
