Chris Christie Finally Faces Reality — Withdraws From Race

He actually thinks that withdrawing will somehow make a difference

Just three days before the new year, Chris Christie bought a 7-figure ad campaign in which he made his case for why he absolutely would NOT drop out to keep from splitting the vote and helping Trump.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is in the 2024 presidential race to stay. Just ask him.

In a new ad released digitally on Thursday, the 61-year-old directly responded to recent calls for him to withdraw and clear the field for a more popular alternative to former President Donald Trump.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Maybe Christie took the expression, ‘New year, new you’ to heart. Or maybe, with Trump killing him and everyone else in the polls, Christie stopped lying to himself about his chances.

He has officially ‘suspended his campaign’,  as the jargon goes, for president.

“If we want to change this party, and if we want to change this country, it’s hard work. It’s not easy,” Christie said. “From the moment I got into the race, the decision that I made was really simple: I would rather lose by telling the truth than lie in order to win.”

“I am going to make sure that in no way do I enable Donald Trump ever be president the United States again,” Christie said. “And that’s more important than my own personal ambition.” — FoxNews

He has not endorsed a challenger.
