Stacy Abrams Activist Group Handing Out Pink Slips… Thank-You Bidenomics!

How could a big-spender lib possibly keep running out of money?

Stacy Abrams is back in the news again. This one-time liberal darling and former future Governor of Georgia has gone broke again.

The last time her name came up was after losing in Georgia.

Stacey Abrams’ campaign is $1 million in debt — despite raising more than $100 million in her second straight unsuccessful Georgia gubernatorial bid, according to a report Monday.
Though Abrams is known for her fundraising and get-out-the-vote skills, the campaign’s 180 full-time staffers got their last paychecks Nov. 15, just a week after Election Day, the report said. — NYPost

Will Donald Trump win the 2024 election?

This time, it isn’t her campaign that’s bleeding red ink… it’s the much-touted activist agency she launched.

Fair Fight is laying off 75% of its current staffers, or 20 employees, per Groh-Wargo, as the group is $2.5 million in debt with $1.9 million cash on hand even after raising about $100 million from 2018 to 2021.

The group has been involved in multiple long, unsuccessful legal battles over voting rights. In 2022, news emerged that Fair Fight had reportedly spent more than $25 million in legal fees over two years, with most of that going to the firm of Abrams’ close friend and campaign chair, Allegra Lawrence-Hardy.

In one high-profile legal battle, the organization fought the conservative group True the Vote, which sought to remove hundreds of thousands of voters before the 2021 Senate runoffs. True the Vote narrowly won in federal court this month. — JustTheNews
