Disney Takes Another ‘L’ — This Time In Their DeSantis Lawsuit

They've been stepping on rakes ever since picking a fight with Florida's Governor

It’s been a pattern ever since they tried to run that propaganda operation to meddle in Florida’s politics: pick a fight with Florida — and promptly lose.

As if their oh-so-predictable box office bombs weren’t a big enough problem for the company to deal with.

Disney lost a major battle in its bitter struggle with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis after a federal judge tossed out the entertainment giant’s lawsuit against the Republican governor and his hand-picked board that now oversees the land around Disney World.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor, who was appointed to the bench by former President Donald Trump, said Disney lacked standing and jurisdiction in arguing that actions pushed by DeSantis were retaliatory and violated the First Amendment rights of the company.

Disney said in a statement Wednesday that it intends to appeal the decision. — Politico

As a Business Insider article noted: Disney’s problem isn’t DeSantis, it’s that people aren’t swarming to the parks like they used to… and they need look no further than their userous own gate fees to explain why.
